what are some things to do for 14 year old girls? - we live in austin, tx. - it can receive pretty icy here in the winter, but some days it's warmer. - it can be stuff to do at home - or it can be places we can go around here my best pal and i just receive a little bored sometimes. we're fine with staying home, but we want things to do. besides watching movies because that's every we ever do when we're bored at home. when we want to receive out of the home we go to the mall or movies and sometimes meet up with a bunch of people. but sometimes people can't hang or we just wanna hang with each other..and hanging at home or going to the movies gets kinda boring unless we have guys with us. but they're kinda busy with sports lately..so we don't know what to do! can anyone give us some ideas?

Open Question: Campsite links/ANY recommendations for an owner new to a 36' class A rv?

Am super new to this and excited about the potential adventures. i don't know anyone who r.v.s around, so i'm here asking on answers...anyhow, am going to start in austin to pick up the vehicle and go into N.E. Kansas. Anything worthwhile btwn. the austin and N.E. Kansas area you'd recommend checking out? Then I'll take a trip from N.E. Ks into N. california. That trip will be child-less. But in Jan. I'll bring kids from N. Ca to Houston. got 3 kids who are ages 7 and below + used to plane travel + extended car rides in a tiny 4 dr...so the space improvement alone will be a relief! =) so any places you've enjoyed spending time w/ your kids on that leg of the trip? Open Question: NYU, Indiana, UMich, or UT Austin- Is NYU worth it?

I'm a junior in high school with a good transcript, and i'm researching prospective colleges. I want to major in finance and possibly be a stockbroker/investor. (I basically want to be obscenely wealthy when i grow up!) Is NYU Stern's finance program worth every that tuition money? Or would it be more wise to go to a cheaper, solid business school like Indiana University-Bloomington for my undergrad? My family's middle class, so i would probably paying for my education mostly through loans. I'm also considering UT Austin, UT Knoxville (not the best school, but i live in tennessee so it would be really cheap for me), and U Mich (a little too pricey). So what school would have the best return for my investment?

I will be graduating with a masters in professional accounting and would like to know about what i can expect to make my first year in the workforce. I will be studying for my cpa exam and will take it as soon as possible. I will graduate with a 3.5 gpa accumulative, with a 4.0 in accounting classes, and scored fairly high on my gmat test. I am about to be 23 years old, i am an attractive male, and will be looking for a job in texas in either dallas,austin,houston, or san antonio. I was just curious to how salaries for my carrer field will be affected be the current economic concerns. I am currently pregnant and I am trying to decide names for my daughter! I want it to be edgy, modern, and really different without being odd! My boyfriend and I were thinking maybe 'Lucky' but I'm not sure. I already have four kids (Ben, Zack, Kendall, and Austin) so those names are obviously ruled out. Any suggestions? Thanks! Open Question: I would like to go to UT Austin, I will have 24 hours by this december, can i get in?

Transferable Coursework Requirement "To be eligible to apply for transfer admission, you must have graduated from high school or earned a GED and have completed or be currently enrolled in the remaining coursework to earn at least 30 semester hours of transferable credit." I will have 36 hours min. by the time i go there if accepted in fall of 09... but is that correct... that i can still apply as a transfer as long as i will have 30+ hours by the time I attend UT? And what are my chances of getting in? minimum gpa will be 3.625 max will be a 3.875.. im apply to geosciences school and liberal arts :P. thanks

Open Question: Anyone have any good ideas for a short film?

I'm currently a high school student who's looking to make a short film as nice of an independent project. I would like to stay away from a comedy and be more focused on something deep like a drama or suspense/thriller with a good plot twist, something that hasn't been done before. Right now my main concern is getting into a major film university such as the University of Texas at Austin and I think it would help to have a completed project to attach to my application. As I read more and more aon this site about teenagers coming here for help, every I look are dirty remarks , awful comments, and no helping! I am a teen mom of 4. FOUR KIDS. Four kids and I am only 17. No, I am not a troll or a liar or a slut or scumbag. Neither are these girls who arrive on here for help or guidance! You want my story? I'll give it to you: When I was 13 years old, I was raped by an older student at my school. Surprise, surprise: I got pregnant with his child. I am strictly against abortion and I believe that the adoption system is ridiculous. That is my personal opinion. When I delivered that baby, I knew that I was too young but thats life! Nothing I could do! My son Ben was alive and healthy and it was a blessing. When I turned 15, I had been dating a guy for about a year and we had sex for the first time. What do you know? I got pregnant with TWINS. The guy who I thought I loved left me and moved away. I was only fifteen and I had a two year old son, and now another son (Zack) and a daughter (Kendall). By that time my parents were fed up with me and I dont blame them. They sent me and my kids to live with my aunt in CA because she had enough money and enough room to support us. I was 16 at the time and I began dating Jeremy. He loved Ben, Zack, and Kendall so much. He accepted them and me. I told him I didnt want kids but I would have sex with him. We had sex for the first time and we used a condom. Well guess what? The condom broke. I got pregnant. I had his son (Austin). We stayed together and committed to making it work. My aunt was delighted (strangely.) Lets just say my parents werent. After Austin was born, we started having sex again and I took the pill. We also used condoms for extra protection. Ben, Zack, Kendall, and Austin. I am currently pregnant again with Jeremy's child. Its a girl and we plan to keep her and name her Lucky. We are getting married as soon as we both turn 18. I dropped out of high school and work at my aunts clothing store while caring for my kids. Jeremy dropped out too and works for his uncle. I am not lieing. This is just my story. Open your eyes people! These are real issues that no one can seem to believe unless it happens to them! TEEN MOMS: i understand every hardship because I've had to go through it too! questions, comments, stories? You know how on commercials and the packages on the pill boxes, how it says like .1% will receive pregnant I was the .1%. I dont regret anything and I dont say that I'm unlucky because I have four amazing kids and one on the way. They are a blessing indisguise. But yes, I am extremely fertile. hahah As I said before in my statements: every of my kids were unplanned and , well, accidents. Like I said, I dont regret anything but i have made my mistakes. I am strongly strongly against abortion because in my eyes it is murder. I do have a job and so does Jeremy and also my aunt is (not to be rude or anything) extremely well-off when it comes to money. Thats why I came to her in the first place because she offered to support me when I needed it. This is reality people. This comment is for IVA H. Because of people like you, that is why I posted this. I posted this because there are people like you who cant except the fact that accidents happen, girls are stupid when they think they're in adore, and life is life. If you have nothing nice to say, dont say anything.

A few years back when I was a freshmen in college after the first semester I saw my friends mom ( I went to western michigan university by the way), And she asked me how my first semester was and how was my grades. And I was like I got a 4.0 and she was like oh that's like a C or a D at state. Since then I transferred to Texas Austin and i still have good grades a 3.8. But I was just thinking isn't that's a kinda rude thing to say to someone. I know many people think that but I feel like its not proper etiquette to stamp on someones parade. Do you think that is a weird thing to say to your sons pal? No she understood that a 4.0 is an A she was just saying the school i used to go to is easy and for dumb people.

The guy I'm dating now. Ryan, well lately he hasn't been wanting to text me as much. (only way we could talk b/c i wasn't in town during thanksgiving) He told me his phone died, but he told his grandpa that before when he didn't want to talk to him. This has been going on for a while. He just nice of has that, I'll talk to you, but I don't really care to talk to you nice of thing. Thinking of moving closer to my place of work. Fly in and out of Houston every month, but have no desire to live there. im currently working at h-e-b and am ready to put in my two weeks because i just cant handle it anymore, i dont think it is for me, i would prefer to do something that requires less contact with customers and such. this is because i prefer to work alone, and not feel like im there to serve anyone, (and i know i am working in a grocery store) but im at my wits end with it so if you know of anything please tell me. and im getting $8.40 right now, so anything that pays good would be nice.
